Discount Code Types

There are different types of Discount Codes that can be used as below.

 

Percentage Discount

When this type is selected the code amount becomes the percentage. e.g. for 10% discount simply enter 10 as the amount.

Rules can be applied e.g. to lock down the discount so it only applies if certain products or product types are included.
 

Fixed Cart Discount

Use this type when you want the whole order to be discounted by a set amount.

Rules can be applied e.g. so the discount is only valid for a minimum spend.
 

Fixed Product Discount

This type is for a fixed amount against a specific product or products.

Use the rules to select which product or products should be included (or excluded).
 

Value Added Gift Card Amount

Selecting this type will add the code’s amount to the gift card’s value, then discount it from the order.

e.g. a £100 voucher is added to the cart then £30 added value is applied. This makes the voucher £130 but the customer then receives £30 discount off their order so only £100 is paid.

Rules can be applied to lock the code to a specific gift voucher amount or for minimum total order spend.
 

Value Added Gift Card Percentage

This code works in the same way as above but is a percentage rather than fixed amount.
